he
old myth that the climate, grapes or even the wine making skills
in this country prevented English wines competing against the best
from around the world was well and truly smashed after the first
bottles started rolling off the bottling line at Chiltern Valley’s
winery in the early 1980’s.
Annual production increased to over 120,000 bottles during our
first decade to cope with the resulting demand. Owner and winemaker
David Ealand uses the very latest wine making techniques and winery
equipment to combine a respect for tradition with minimum interference
with the natural processes.
Why
not pay us a visit and enjoy a tour of the winery or just browse
in the cellar shop and sample our selection of fine wines, ales
and liqueurs? |
